WHAT IS THE RESCHEDULE POLICY?

Rain or Shine – Events will run.

Please bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.

Safety is always a priority including making sure the road conditions are safe.  The person that signed up for the event would receive an email with response requested to ensure they received the cancellation notice.  Weather cancellations are at the sole discretion of LCF.

WINTER WEATHER:  If there is a snow storm or other weather condition which would be significant enough to cause a cancellation, we would reach out to re-schedule the class/dinner/event.

FOR PUBLIC CLASSES:
Because each event is a limited engagement, reserved small group seating, per our Terms of Purchase, WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER REFUNDS OR RESCHEDULING. Please understand that each LCF event has a high fixed expense with lots of moving/complicated logistics/planning to do what we do.  Being unable to attend, whether unavoidable or not, also impacts the experience for other attendees as a group and those possibly unable to get seats.

However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else. Please contact us through email with the new guest’s name and information so that we have updated check in info & can provide any other day related info (ie: weather related, designated parking, map, etc..). Otherwise, they would be turned away upon arrival.

(Please READ the FAQ section on each event page for event specific details which may vary)

FOR ALL PRIVATE EVENTS:   A $400 booking deposit is required and is applied toward the total amount.  This will help cover initial costs and also allows us, with confidence, to suggest alternate dates to other interested groups looking for the same selected date.

Reschedules|Cancellations for Private Events:
If your emailed request is more than 14 days from the event, you can reschedule to another date without deposit deduction.  We do ask however that you pay a new booking deposit, to which the full amount of both deposits will go 100% toward your new date.  We can extend this courtesy 1x.

Should your request be made 8-13 days from your reserved date, you would need to pay a new booking deposit and only $100 from your 1st deposit would be carried over.  Requests made 7 days or less would forfeit the initial deposit and a new booking deposit would be required.

Once your group has officially booked a date on our events calendar, we plan for the number of people you provided/confirmed with when booking.  Please provide any changes to your group’s final headcount 14 or more days out from your booked event date.  Should the final headcount of your group change within 14 days from your booked event date, no payment will be refunded as we would have already incurred expenses such as non-refundable food order/purchases, time spent & preparations/setup of your booked dinner/class/event, weekly payments to our staff/team and other infrastructure costs, etc.  We appreciate your understanding.

All reschedule credit extended has no expiration and can be used for any available date in the future for any service we offer.  πŸŽ‰ So for example, if you had scheduled a Private Chef Dinner for Aunt Edna, and you remembered later on that she made it clear there were to be no parties for her Spring-time birthday, and you cancel this event within the timeframes mentioned above, you may use your extended credit for a future point toward a private family cooking class, for example.  Or her belated birthday in the Winter because she ‘came around’ after speaking to some friends!  You decide, but please allow all courtesy of time possible with regard to notifying us, as we’ve likely already extended a lot of effort planning & customizing details for your special event and let’s face it, we may have to donate the 40lbs of fresh salmon you ordered which cost way more than the deposit.

Please remember for booked private group events: All cancellations/rescheduling requests need to be made by email to letscultivate@gmail.com – That way both parties have something to refer back to and it keeps us organized.

BYO / ALCOHOL POLICIES

Can I BYO:Β Β Bring-Your-Own is not an option at our classes/dinners in our new space.Β  Most of our events include wine & non-alcoholic beverage pairings upon arrival and with food consumption based in the description of each event. (up to two alcoholic drinks max, pursuant to state regulations)

How long do LCF events in the Greenhouse last?

Upon arrival, you can take our natural stone path to the center of our Garden where a glass of wine will be awaiting you. Check in with our host, where your names will be on the guest list.  The festivities will begin with offerings of our LCF seasonal Signature fruit & herb infused beverage or water. You’ll have the opportunity to visit our Vegetable and Flower gardens, our mini ponds, the chicken coop, the mini orchard and future bee areas.  We recommend preserving your time for about 3 hours.

dietary restrictions/allergies for public events?

For our publicly listed events, due to the family style nature of our meals and in order to uphold the highest quality standards possible, we can only accommodate certain limited restrictions of omitting an ingredient IF applicable but usually cannot for publicly listed events. The dinners at our events are meant to be enjoyed for adventurous eaters & are served often family style. When you inform us of your dietary restriction when you are purchasing your seats, we note that info on your reservation for our staff to know beforehand. (We can not adjust anything if you inform us on the day of). If your allergy poses serious health risks with common ingredients (ie: onions, garlic, sesame oil, ingredients that might not be shared in the menu description but can be used often to season etc..), we would encourage you to refrain from purchasing seats to an event, as we feel more comfortable knowing that you will be safe given the design of these dinners/classes in a Greenhouse.

cooking classes: hands-on or demonstration?
& will I have enough to enjoy for dinner?

Our LCF cooking classes are completely hands-on where each duo will learn & follow along as the chef shares about our seasonings/ingredients and tips & tricks and as you cook your dishes to enjoy your dinner – you will leave stuffed! They’re worthwhile events!

What should I wear to a Greenhouse event?

Our dinners & classes take place in our open air greenhouse and to view the garden, orchard & chickens, some of the ground is on natural terrain and not completely flat. Please dress according to the outside weather and remember to wear comfortable flat shoes (heels not permitted). It may get chilly in the evening (even after a warm day) & we anticipate many beautiful sunsets so please come prepared with a light jacket, sweater or sunglasses to be comfortable.

How many people can attend an event? ?

Our public classes are purposely intimate with 4-6 duos so that each couple can get hands-on learning/cooking time and have the opportunity to ask questions and get a full understanding about the specifics of the ingredients & techniques relating to the class they are attending. Public classes are only sold in seats of 2ppl. For our private events, you can book our Greenhouse for a group of 6-12ppl by filling out our Private Event inquiry form.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE EVENTS?

We kindly ask that guests not signup children to our events. Due to the length of the event, adult friendly menus and out of respect for all paid attending guests, our dinners are suited for adults.
